Aimware is a Galway-based software company which has also established a substantial base in the US. The company was established in 1996 and Enterprise Equity participated in the most recent round of investment in 2002.

Aimware has developed a range of products in the area of Team, Collaboration Software. These products enable geographically dispersed teams to manage work and projects effectively. Aimware’s current range of products are built on the Microsoft SharePoint platform and are marketed under the Brightwork brand name. In 2003 Aimware became the first company licenced by Microsoft to use the Microsoft Solutions Framework model to provide SharePoint solutions and tools to help manage work and projects. Aimware has a strong relationship with Microsoft and is represented on several Microsoft development councils. Microsoft is also among its most important customers.

Other Aimware customers include US Army, General Motors, Trident Insurance, US navy, etc.
