NitroSell ltd., founded in July 2005, is a software development company and service provider that provides a fully managed eCommerce webstore service for mid-sized retailers. The Company employs 14 people in its head office in Cork, with a further 3 people based fulltime in the USA. NitroSell eCommerce provides retailers with an online presence quickly (as little as half a day) and cheaply (as little as €2,000 initial license fee). It comes with all the features and functionality of a much larger proprietary system of the type used by large international retailers. These larger systems typically cost several hundred thousand Euro, or much more, and can take years to design, develop, implement, test, and deploy. Thereafter these systems require significant in-house IT expertise and resources to run and manage. NitroSell can deliver this high functionality at this incredibly low price by virtue of its business model; namely “Software as a Service” or SaaS. The Company’s goal is to become the premium multi-channel retail solution partner, integrating existing brick-and-mortar retailer, with the internet.
